Highlights
I have a number of favourites in this Section: anything with scallops, and all crab cakes (providing someone
else cracks, cleans, and shells the crab!)
My favourite is the Pan-Fried Scallops with Fennel-White Bean
Mash; a special dish that we often serve to visitors who come to our Island home. Local scallops
are offset with the crunch of toasted hazelnuts and the acidity of the balsamic/tomato salad
topping.
Another meal that we like to serve our guests is the Halibut Fillets in Caper-Butter
Sauce, a beautiful, delicate dish that we have every year when halibut season opens.
And if you want a great menu for a dinner party, the Seafood Cannelloni is decadent but really
good.
